LabCampus managing director Dr. Marc Wagener was part of an exciting panel discussion and discussed with other experts to what extent products and services can be rethought in the course of technical innovations as well as social and economic changes.
It is undisputed that design methods are key drivers of innovation and an important component for companies in all project phases in order to develop products and services in a progressive way. In the search for innovative and sustainable concepts, new paths must be taken, business areas must be rethought and markets must be newly opened up. In this context, design provides meaning, form and function and helps to develop new products or services in a way that is both accessible and easy to use, and contributes to increasing value in the eyes of the user.

The new AirportAcademy will be the second building on LabCampus: With the award of the contract for the construction to Ed. Züblin AG, LabCampus continues to grow out of the concept phase.
MedienNetzwerk Bayern
At the conference "MEDIA meets SMART CITY" of the MedienNetzwerk Bayern Sarah Wittlieb entered into dialogue with media companies and other innovation drivers from various industries. The aim was not only to present LabCampus - exciting ideas for the future, such as those developed in cooperation with the students of the MIT Senseable City Labs, were further developed.
DLD Singapore 2019
Together with important Asian investors, up-and-coming start-ups in the region, German companies and a large European delegation, Dr. Marc Wagener (Managing Director LabCampus) and Sarah Wittlieb (Vice President Innovation & Creation LabCampus) were also on site to exchange views on topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics, smart cities and the future of work, but above all to expand the innovation cosmos of LabCampus and to establish intercontinental contacts.
Among other things, Dr. Marc Wagener dared to look beyond the boundaries of his own field and discussed in the panel "Designing the workplace of tomorrow" with Lizzie Runham (HR Director Asia Pacific, Facebook), Maria Bourke (Comms. Director Asia Pacific, Steelcase) and Christoph Braun (Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Acton Capital Partners) various approaches that can shape, improve and influence a working world of the future. The exciting discussion was moderated by Stanley Chong.
